The Amazing Race

by Muthoni Garland

KSh 365

Kamau is set to run the race of his life. Will his Baba show up to see him in? Will uganga rays help him? Is his main competitor more determined to win than him? How far is his competitor prepared to go to win?

Based on a real life experience, The Amazing Race by Muthoni Muchemi Garland explores the sort of challenges faced by children that can build or break their character. As highlighted in the appendix of the story, there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to emotions. Exploring our feelings  increases our emotional intelligence.  The Amazing Race is a must-read and a must-shared story.

A Swahili version of this story, Mbio Ya Ajabu, is also available.
